The DfE is conducting a review of the primary and secondary National Curriculum.
This site contains the statutory programmes of study for National Curriculum subjects which maintained schools must follow until a new curriculum is in place.

What support is available?

QCDA and National Strategies have been helping schools to use APP and offered training and support over three years from 2008–2011. The Assessment for learning strategy, (Department for Children, Schools and Families, 2008), set out the financial and professional development support available to schools to help develop APP.

The £50 million allocated to the development of assessment for learning practices (including APP) for 2010-11 has already been distributed to schools via their local authorities. This is the final tranche of the funding which supported schools to embed effective assessment practices through the Assessment for learning strategy.
