Groups > Creativity and the Arts in Education

This group is for those interested in discussing how creativity is harnessed in the curriculum and showcasing examples of good teaching and learning. It is an open forum for discussion about creativity in education. Here are some questions/considerations to reflect on:

  • Should creativity continue to be taught as a series of individual subjects?
  • How would you change the structure of the school to develop students' creativity?
  • How should ICT be used to encourage and develop creativity in schools? How can we harness the interest students have in computers and technology?
  • Do you believe that exams are important for creative subjects? If not, what are the alternatives?
