The video, part of a unique showcase of videos made by teachers about their work in schools, features action research carried out at the school which looks at the benefits of a relaxed curriculum in delivering literacy and art. The aim is to engage learners so that they develop transferable skills across all subjects.

Presenter Xanthe Steen is joined in the studio by Chris, education consultant Adrienne Jones and teacher Heather Ravenhall to discuss the project. They talk about the key issues of a relaxed curriculum, building self-esteem, confidence and student voice.

The panel also discuss the wider implications of using teacher video for assessment and CPD.
